This policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Flipkart Internet Private Limited and its Affiliates (collectively “Flipkart, Firedrops, we, our, us”) collect, use, share, retain or otherwise process your personal information through Flipkart website firedrops.flipkart.io (“website”), its mobile application, and m-site (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”).


While you may be able to browse certain sections of the Platform without registering with us, however, please note we do not offer any product or service under this Platform outside India. By visiting this Platform, providing your information or availing our product/service, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use (applicable to the Platform and its use) and the applicable service/product terms and conditions, and agree to be governed by the laws of India including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. We have prepared this Privacy Policy to describe to you our practices regarding the Personal Data (as defined below) we collect from users of our Platform and online services (collectively, the “Service(s)”). 


Information You Provide Us.


We may collect Personal Data (i.e., any data recognized under applicable data privacy laws and identifies you specifically) from you, such as your first and last name, e-mail and mailing addresses, and password when you create an account to log in to our platform (“Account”). It is possible there maybe additional features made available on the Platform in the future which may require additional personal/sensitive information from you. Should this happen, we will update our Privacy Policy and notify you of the same via tickers on the Platform. If you use our Services on your mobile device, we may collect your phone number and the unique device id number. Our Service lets you store preferences like how your content is displayed, your location. Certain Services, such as two-factor authentication, may require our collection of your phone number. We do not collect Personal Data automatically, but we may tie the information that we collect automatically to Personal Data about you that we collect from other sources or that you provide to us.

We provide all users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving non-essential (promotional, marketing-related) communications after setting up an account with us. Data Retention.


We retain your Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws, for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law. However, we may retain data related to you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, to enable Flipkart to exercise its legal rights and/or defend against legal claims or if required by law or for other legitimate purposes. We may continue to retain your data in anonymized form for analytical and research purposes.

We care about the security of your information and use physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through our website. We implement a wide variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your Personal Data whenever you enter or submit or access such personal information. All the data is stored in secure servers in India.


However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%.
